An extra chunky blend of cardable fibers for creating art batts, rolags, or other blends to spin into yarn for knitting, weaving, and crochet. One pinch goes a long way!

In this handcrafted blend you'll find:

  • RAMBOUILLET: Also known as "French Merino" this fine wool fleece has been scoured and washed but still has a tiny bit of lanolin intact to keep the wool conditioned.
  • DRYSDALE: One of the rarest breeds of wool with only one registered flock left in the world. This shorter staple length sliver has been cut into WoolMallows (like marshmallows made of wool) to create fuzzy heathered effect that holds onto tiny texture like wool and cotton nepps to make spinning texture easier with minimal fall out.
  • WOOL-MALLOWS: Random fine, medium, and rare wool top, roving, and sliver from my deep stash that create a fuzzy texture when carded and spun and that holds onto tiny texture like wool and cotton nepps to make spinning texture easier with minimal fall out.
  • WOOL NEPPS: Dyed tiny balls of recycled wool that love to be blended with mohair or other longwool fibers. Wool Nepps create a whimsical bumpy polka dot texture like tiny gumballs.
  • COTTON NEPPS: Dyed flecks of recycled cotton that are happy to be blended with anything and create a soft polka dot texture like an impressionistic painting.
  • SILK: Bloody red silk waste and Mulberry Silk mallows complete this luxurious texture.

HOW TO USE: I have an extensive library of carding and spinning videos all available for free on YouTube. My channel is @neauveau and can be accessed at howtospinyarn.com (no www).

Each bag is subtly different due to the size of the texture and nuance in the dyed bits.
