Beautiful muted golden fiber cloud that I've burn tested and seems to be nylon, though it might be another form synthetic like acrylic or poly. I have not been able to get it to take dye. But the golden color is a really lovely neutral that goes with anything.
Nylon is often blended with wool for increasing durability in knitwear. This cloudy downy fluff is light and airy soft with a clean squeak texture. It does not feel cool or silky but warm and fine and very clean.
It would blend beautifully in art batts. Short staple length. This came from a closeout so once it's gone it's gone!
