Hand-dyed Luxe Longwool Roving for felting and spinning - 3 oz | BL10

A rare 5 inch staple length wool I received as a mill end bump, dyed in the braid to create a resist "stained glass" effect when the braid is opened.

The original description was "28 Micron Australian Crossbred Super White and long stapled top." I think it is a BFL Mohair lovechild while and others have compared it to Falkland. One person said it was "The Lady Gaga of Wool". 

This base is a rare unicorn and no longer manufactured. Lusterous and dyed in a conditioning rinse to improve handle. Honestly some of the most fun wool I've ever worked with. If I was a hoarder I would keep it all. 

This wool was dyed as a loose braid using the dye immersion method - so when the braid is opened there will be surprise colors and tones and dimensions underneath the outside dye color. This color variation is intentional and the complete color story is meant to be a surprise.
