ALPHONSE MUCHA Inspired Fiber Artist Wool and Texture Palette - 8 ounces (WAFA)

Each bag is 8 ounces of multiple tonal colors and textures. About 3oz is texture and 5oz is roving. Each bag contains a different postcard from Alphonse Mucha's work. 

This pack includes:

• 5 ounces of 10 tonal colors of beginner-friendly rare churro wool sliver
• 3 ounces of 4 different textures for blending:
  • Eucalyptus Crimp
  • Wool Nepp Sparkle blend
  • Recycled Threads blend in neutrals
  • Recycled Thread blend in pink

Add 1.5-2 pounds of your favorite wool or base fiber to this collection to blend and spin enough yarn to create your own Art Nouveau inspired sweater! This pack is also felting friendly and the churro sliver and texture can be used in freeform weaving.

WHAT IS CHURRO SLIVER?

Churro is a rare breed of sheep, and sliver is a fine beginner-friendly style of roving for spinning. Churro wool is grown and sourced in the USA is on the Shave em to Save em Livestock Conservancy list. I've conditioned the churro in Unicorn Fibre Rinse to soften and improve the handle of this beginner-friendly delightful medium heritage wool.
