Rare (not wool) American Upholstery Selvage for shaggy fringe plying and weaving. Feels like rayon/cotton/blend and could likely be overdyed with RIT with unique results. 

Perfect for spinning into chunky shaggy sections of art yarn or adding unique texture to tapestry weaving as well as rug weaving.

As textile manufacturing moves overseas, it is becoming harder to find local resources for selvage in quantities for creative making. The last selvage suppliers in America cannot guarantee color which is difficult for artisans to work with. This selvage is from a mill that went out of business in 2020 and once it's gone it's gone.
