For years I've been asked where to find cones of yarn for spinning and when I found a source of high quality vintage and estate cones of thread I purchased the entire lot to keep what I needed and pass on my savings to you!

Each lot has many many thousands of yards. High quality fibers fill every lot. Priced at $10/pp these cones of thread are priced at 50-90% off retail. I got a great deal on these - so I'm keeping what I need and passing on my savings to you! 

Each lot includes:

• One large cone of rayon (usually $40/pp)
• One 8 oz cone of cotton core / warp thread
• An assortment of cones in different weights and textures to create a cohesive collection for your studio. As pictured. May include cotton, bamboo, wool, plant fiber blends, wool fiber blends, synthetic novelties, mohair boucle, and mystery blends.

Threads that do not break easily under tension can be used for plying and corespinning as well as warp for weaving on a rigid heddle or small loom.

Threads that break under tension are perfect for autowrapping and carry-along spinning as well as some plying and corespinning and weaving weft. 

The exterior of some cones may have a slight bit of dust from the previous owners storage. I have kept these yarns in quarantine before listing to confirm no moth evidence.
